Raven expresses how I feel when I’m drawing at 5 AM
The main things Sai has over Photoshop are the quality of lines and the ease of the quick select for coloring. Overall the brush tool seems to be way more accurately responsive to presssure than Photoshop, which allows for a lot smoother changes in weight. The other nice thing is the quick select works pretty damn well, so doing color flats is much faster.
As for Zbrush… I haven’t touched it in ages. 3D is too hard for my monkey brain D:
Warm up tonight. Also teaching myself to use paint tool Sai, which I’ve never used before since it hates my tablet.
I think I’ll never go back to photoshop.

Taco Truck Hiatus
Hey everyone, hope you’re doing awesome.
This probably doesn’t come as a big surprise, but it seems time to put Taco Truck on an official hiatus for now. Currently the pages take a great deal of time and if I plan on releasing them on a reasonable schedule I’m going to have to completely reevaluate how they’re made.
It’s also become apparent that Taco Truck just isn’t doing it for me anymore. I hate to do this to the cool people that read, but I just need a break. Thanks for sticking in there guys.

In progress shot of more stuff. Lots of experimenting here, lots of opportunities for this to get thrown out completely in the future.
Here’s a test page from the new project. Probably gonna have to rebuild this from scratch due to some technical dumb stuff, but it seems a waste to just throw it away.
